1. About Stay

Stay is a mobile application designed to help parents break phone habits during family time using photo-based interventions. It is a productivity and mindfulness tool, not a medical or mental health service. It is not a substitute for professional advice, diagnosis, or treatment.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old (or the minimum legal age in your country) to use Stay. By using the App, you confirm that you meet this requirement.

3. Privacy & Local Storage

Stay is designed with privacy as a core principle. The photos you select for interventions are stored locally on your device and are never uploaded to our servers. Since we do not create user accounts or store your personal content in the cloud, you are responsible for backing up your device data.

4. Subscriptions and Payments

Some features of Stay may require a paid subscription.

• Subscriptions are managed through the Apple App Store and are subject to their terms and conditions.
• If a free trial is offered, it will automatically convert to a paid plan unless canceled at least 24 hours before the trial ends.
• Deleting the App does not cancel your subscription. You must cancel via your Apple ID settings.
• All billing, refunds, and cancellations are handled directly by Apple.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Misuse or interfere with the App’s functionality.
• Attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, or copy parts of the App.
• Use Stay for unlawful, abusive, or harmful purposes.

6. Health Disclaimer

Stay provides general habit-breaking tools and encouragement. It is not a medical device and does not provide medical or psychological advice. If you are experiencing significant distress, addiction, or mental health issues, please seek help from a qualified professional.

7. Intellectual Property

All content in Stay — including the code, design, and branding — is owned by Latent Signal Labs, LLC. You may not copy, reproduce, or redistribute Stay’s assets without permission.

8. Limitation of Liability

Stay is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis, without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Latent Signal Labs, LLC is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use of the App. Use of Stay is at your own discretion and risk.

9. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. When changes occur, we’ll notify users through the App or via the App Store update notes. Continued use of Stay after updates means you accept the revised Terms.
